Hello, I am Holly Sorensen, the owner of PAWSWEGO. After a lifetime of caring for a wide range of animals in my own household,
I began working as a Veterinary Assistant in 1992. For four years I gained clinical experience while growing my petsitting
clientele on the side. In 1996, I intrepidly began petsitting FULL-TIME in Lake Oswego. The majority of my business has
come to me through word-of-mouth. Local veterinarians, groomers, as well as your friends and neighbors have come to trust
and avidly refer PAWSWEGO petsitting & housesitting.
My husband Cory and I are Lake Oswego Home Owners and Cory is actually a Lake Oswego native (a lifer). He attended Hallinan
Elementary, Waluga Jr. High, and Lakeridge High. We are so thrilled to be an active part of this wonderful community in which
we have chosen to raise our children as well. We provide a foster home for homeless animals when the shelters are overflowing,
or when there are "special-needs" animals requiring extra love and rehabilitating. We volunteer our free time at
local animal shelters and donate our professional services to animal charity balls and raffles.
My past (animal-related) course studies include Veterinary Technology, Companion Animal First Aide, and Pet CPR. I am
currently studying to obtain my international certification as a "Petsitting Technician." I always seek out new
ways to continue my education as a pet care provider, making me more valuable to you and your pets. Our community involvement
and love for animals, combined with our extensive training and experience, has helped make this business a terrific success.
I cannot imagine a better "dream job"
We have 2 dogs and 4 cats of our own. Would you like to meet them? Sure you would ...
